What confirms the prediction
A verifiable prediction needs four things on-chain: Opened timestamps when the call was made, Entry is the price it was based on, and Direction commits to long or short. After the signal resolves, Close, Result, P&L, and Drawdown are published. Together that’s a call that existed before the outcome and a verdict that can’t be edited after.
Opened
When the call was hashed. Must precede the outcome.
Entry
The price the call was based on at time of posting.
Direction
Long or short. Committed on-chain before the move.
Close
The price at which the signal was resolved.
Result
Win or Loss, published at close.
P&L
The net percentage return on the closed signal.
Drawdown
Worst price excursion against the signal during its life. Embedded as 'MAE' (Maximum Adverse Excursion) on the raw chain TX.
Closed
When the signal resolved. Compared against Opened to prove the order.
Documented Corrections
Clerical errors happen — a decimal entered wrong, an inadvertent close. When they do, the correction is written to chain with a reason and disclosed on the Board. The original hash stays intact; the correction carries its own timestamp. Both are visible. Nothing is hidden.
Corrections don’t erase outcomes; they document amendments in the open. Accuracy is built on real, documented calls. The blockchain removes the last critique — that losses were deleted. They weren’t. They can’t be.
